biography
Chris Woodman is a Sydney
ventriloquist
and
comedian. He began working as a musician and performing comedy at the
age of fifteen.
Chris realised early that as a
performer he had to be himself.......and
a few other people - he had to be a ventriloquist!
The
performing style of Chris is fresh and original, which means he and his
characters bring a captivating sense of joy to wherever they appear.
Chris believes that ventriloquism as
well as being entertainment also has a therapeutic value - people
really do relate to the little guy. His characters possess remarkable
talents; including singing, impersonations and hilarious audience
advice.
Chris has
a background of tours, performing at various venues across
Australia with a varied range of work; including festivals,
corporate
functions and private parties.
Of recent
years he has been performing mainly in New South Wales and
Victoria. Based in Sydney, Chris does any and every size show - big or
small.
For
something with a difference, Chris and his wonderful cast of
characters offer a show that is full of laughter, fun and audience
participation - everyone has a really good time!
